Mike Drumright grew up in Valley Center, Kansas, a small bedroom community northwest of Wichita. He attended Valley Center schools, played baseball and attended Wichita State University on a baseball scholarship. Mike graduated with a BS in Liberal Arts, but followed his love for baseball playing professional ball for nine years. He played for Detroit, Florida, Boston, and Baltimore.
Upon retiring from his professional baseball career and returning to Wichita, he invested with a contractor to have a duplex project built. Mike realized that the project was not going too well and had to take over the job. He learned many invaluable lessons from his first business venture, mostly from the side of the homeowner. He also realized that he enjoyed construction and decided start a home building business based on honesty, respect, and doing right by the customer. Mike is a active member of the Wichita Builder’s Association by serving on the board of directors. He has two beautiful daughters, Delaney & Aubrey.
